About Me
I am a passionate educator who has had experience teaching all across the Boston area, working with students of varying ages and identities. After these amazing experiences, I have decided that Elementary Education is where my heart is, and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Elementary Education from Northeastern University to be completed with full licensure and SEI endorsement by June of 2020. I am excited to start working as a full time educator starting September 2020!
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that forming a strong relationship with each and every student is critical in order to be a successful educator. Without this foundation, learning cannot and will not happen. Therefore, I believe that community building is at the core of education, and everything I do in the classroom comes back to this idea in some capacity. I am also extremely passionate about equity in education, as all students' identities should be respected, celebrated, and included. Being knowledgable and respectful of your students' identities is just another aspect in creating and maintaining strong relationships and a strong community.
